Pearl in the Ear: Layers of Warmth and Care

"Xiao Rui, Xiao Rui, can you hear me...?" Every time her mother calls Xiao Rui, she has to repeat it several times.

Initially, it was thought to be an earwax issue, so her mother cleaned Xiao Rui's ears, only to discover that not only did her ears emit an odd smell, but there was also bleeding and pus. They hurried to the hospital for an examination, where it was found that there was a lump resembling a "pearl" behind Xiao Rui's eardrum, diagnosed as "cholesteatoma," requiring immediate surgery.
